Here’s a pick of a pair of those shakers demo’ed below. They all came out pretty sweet. Sorry, this pair got snatched up within 5 minutes of posting it for sale on Etsy.

Stopperless Shakers…
Other Blogs…
I’m not sure where to post this sort of thing, but I wanted to thank some bloggers for featuring some of my pottery. It is very generous & flattering for them to take the time to write and post these articles. Check em out…

Quick Update on Decal Issues
Warning: this post is just some technical info for potters….
Well, those pimples I was experiencing actually had nothing to do with the decals. Funny how you correlate coincidences… Turns how my thermocoupler in the kiln was going bad. See… I wasn’t using witness cones during all those test firings, since the were small loads with nothing else in them. The other day I had a large load of pots, I did use test cones, and the kiln was actually over firing by at least 2 cones. That’s why the pieces were bumby, the porcelain body was over fired. I should have known this, I’ve over fired plenty of pots before I had a computerized kiln.
Lesson learned - always use witness cones, even if you have the technology. I could have saved a whole load of pots, had I been putting them in on those decal loads.
