New Article in Pottery Making Illustrated!
My third article for Pottery Making Illustrated will be in the Nov/Dec 2009 issue. It’s how to make my Classic American Butterdish (as opposed to a “french” butter dish). I, personally will be looking forward to more detail on Molly Hatch’s ‘mishima technique’ also in the same issue.

Hi Keith:
Loved your video! I am a new potter and don’t understand why the base of the dish didn’t sink down over the feet when it was fired. It looks nice and flat and like there is space between the base and the table. How did you do that?
